Fruity black teas are excellent pair of sweet desserts and thick heavy pastries. Drink black tea while eating creamy/thick desserts will help cleansing your palate so every bite would taste as good as the first one. Sometimes creamy desserts is overwhelming and coating your mouth heavily and it becomes the reason why usually the following bites would not taste as good as the first bite.
